FOUR  UNANSWERED  ESCHATOLOGICAL  QUESTIONS

 

 

Given our premillennial and pretribulation understanding:

 

Given most all of the Birth Pangs foretold to us by our Lord and Savior in His answer to His disciples in the Olivet Discourse, that is the Seal events, first five Trumpet events and the sounding of the Sixth have taken place in the first half of the 20^th century; and the very next prophetic event to unfold will be the killing of one third of mankind by the fire, the smoke and the brimstone instigated by Islamic forces and instrumented by those once bound at the great river Euphrates:

 

1. When does the government of the Antichrist (Beliar) engulf the entire planet?

 

2. Does Beliar’s worldwide reign begin before or during the ministry of the two sent witnesses from God (Enoch and Elijah)?  Does Beliar’s reign begin with his killing of the two?

 

3. When is this son of perdition revealed in the sequence of eschatological events?
   We know at least he is revealed before the tribulation of those days.
   That could be during the time of the two witnesses.

 

4. We know God ordained human government upon Noah’s coming out of the Ark, with the rainbow covenant.  This was in the year 4989 BCE (reckoned by patriarchal periods in God’s timeline of History for man; and the geological record.  Will Beliar’s satanic form of government begin in the year 2012 AD, the 7,000^th anniversary of human government?

 

To be candid, Scriptures appear to be silent on the answers to these questions.  Yet we have been told: At the End of Days (this era), knowledge will be increased.  Daniel was told to seal up the vision of the prophecy until the end of days.  John of Patmos was given the same charge.

 

We have a clue when these things will be open to us.  The great conflagration is the next prophetic event.  The rapture of those “in Christ” will be taken about that same time or beforehand.  The great apostasy, that which must come first, before the tribulation of those days, as told by our Lord is described as the next prophetic event following the great conflagration (c.f. Revelation 9:20-21).  The next chapter in Revelation cryptically tells us of unfolding things, in heaven and on earth.  This is when we should know the answers to the above four questions.  They are left for Israel to know.  It is left for them to understand the tribulation at a time they are to finish their transgression.  The true Church will have been long gone, unable to witness to them.  It is why God sends Enoch and Elijah; and perhaps the answers to the questions above.
